Klito Falling Plate 3 1/4x 4 1/4

The Klito is a Falling Plate camera made in the UK by Houghton who manufactured the Ensign cameras. It uses glass plates. It is from the same era as my Baker and Rouse.

This is a relatively unsophisticated box camera that is just a little larger than the normal 120 box.

The one bit of sophistication is that it can be focused. The picture below shows the front element extended through the rack and pinion drive.

The square device on the side of the camera gives the focusing distance scale.
